in Public Governance and Administration
(CAS ETH PGA)
The CAS in Public Governance and Administration (CAS PGA) is a 15-day, intensive programme for international public governance professionals. It equips participants with the skills to navigate complex governance challenges and lead effectively in an interconnected world.
Offered by the Swiss School of Public Governance, the CAS in Public Governance and Administration (CAS PGA) brings together professionals from diverse backgrounds to develop the skills to address complex governance challenges.
The programme includes a 15-day intensive block course at ETH Zurich, covering three core areas: contemporary governance, public management, and policy domains. Through expert lectures, simulations, and peer learning, participants gain practical tools to apply innovative solutions in their own contexts.
A central element is a group assignment, where participants collaborate to integrate course insights into a comprehensive analysis. Following the block course, participants complete an individual CAS thesis over three months, applying their learning to real-world professional challenges.
Designed for professionals from the public sector, private organisations, international bodies, and NGOs, the CAS PGA prepares graduates for leadership roles in governance-related fields. It offers a unique chance to engage with an international cohort and deepen understanding of effective governance practices.
