Xavier Mundet receives Strategic Research Foundation grant

Xavier Mundet, doctoral student at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management, has received a Strategy Research Foundation grant for his proposal “Managing Ecosystem Emergence: Evidence from Blockchain, IoT, and DNA analysis in the Food Industry”.

Mundet’s proposal was selected as a winner within the Research in Organisations programme. The objective of this programme is to support empirical studies conducted in organisational settings in which scholars collaborate with managers to address a problem important to both the theory and practice of strategic management. The grants are intended to encourage strategy researchers to engage more closely with strategic decision-makers and strategy developers in different types of organisations.

Mundet’s project will look at the emergence of an innovation ecosystem around new technologies (blockchain, DNA, IoT) in the food industry. It is being developed in collaboration with external page Professor Mary Tripsas at the Carroll School of Management, Boston College, USA. More information about the programme can be found external page here.
