Florian von Wangenheim is appointed Academic Co-Director of emba X
On 1 March 2024, Professor Florian von Wangenheim takes over as Academic Co-Director of the emba X programme. He succeeds Professor Stefano Brusoni, who will remain involved as founder, advisor and lecturer
March 2024 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the emba X, the Executive MBA programme jointly offered by ETH Zurich and the University of St.Gallen. Professor Stefano Brusoni, who founded the programme together with Professor Karolin Frankenberger from the University of St.Gallen, will hand over his role as Academic Co-Director to Professor Florian von Wangenheim.
As part of the founding team of the emba X, Stefano Brusoni was looking for a suitable successor, who will continue to develop the programme according to its vision of being Europe’s most relevant Executive MBA. While assuming his role as Vice Rector for Continuing Education at ETH Zurich, Stefano Brusoni will remain involved as a member of the Advisory Board and lecturer.
Florian von Wangenheim is Professor of Technology Marketing at D-MTEC. He has been at ETH Zurich for 11 years and has been involved with the emba X since the beginning, both as a member of its Advisory Board and as a lecturer of the first two cohorts.
As of March, Karolin Frankenberger and Florian von Wangenheim will work together as Academic Directors to continue the development of the emba X programme. The entire emba X community is very grateful for Stefano Brusoni’s dedication, commitment, and contributions to the programme so far and, at the same time, now very much looking forward to welcoming Florian von Wangenheim on board of the emba X directorate.
