Philippe Mangold is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse and serves since 2019 as Deputy Global Head Credit Portfolio Management and as Global Head Country Portfolio Management & Analytics. Prior to this, he held different leadership positions in Treasury & liquidity risk management, scenario analytics and stress testing. He worked in London and Zurich. His experience additionally includes war room leadership to manage through crisis situations, as well as project management, e.g. related to the build-up of scenario analytics capabilities, and the overhaul of the bank’s liquidity risk management, including the department’s strategic transformation and global expansion.

 

Philippe presents regularly at industry conferences and serves as lecturer at the University of Basel and ETH Zurich. He holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science (M.Sc. Econometrics & Mathematical Economics) and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Basel. He is married and has two daughters.
