Research area
My research focuses on the cognitive processes involved in goal pursuit and the factors that make people more or less successful when they plan ahead and think about the future. I am also interested in how we perceive others based on the construal level they favor (abstract vs concrete level). In addition, I investigate what influences social judgement and impression formation in job hiring contexts.
