The Swiss School of Public Governance (SSPG) promotes excellence in public and non-profit governance and management, with a particular focus on higher education institutions. Through executive continuing education and applied research, the SSPG strengthens leadership and institutional capacity at local, national, and international levels. Drawing on Switzerland’s good governance tradition and the interdisciplinary strengths of ETH Zurich, it offers a platform for professionals across sectors to engage with advanced knowledge and practice.

Research

The SSPG conducts interdisciplinary and translational research projects on current topics in the fields of public and non-profit governance and management with a specific focus on higher education institutions. We are currently working on the following projects:

  • Governance and Institutional Assessment: Developing models and methods to assess governance and autonomy in higher education.
  • Management of Public and Non-Profit Sectors: Analysing the role, relevance, and educational structures of these sectors in Switzerland.
