Doctoral Retreat 2026
The Doctoral Retreat 2026 will take place between 22–23 January in Vitznau.
During the Doctoral Retreat you will discuss current academic topics in the different research domains, exchange academic practices, knowledge, and experience, as well as have ample leisure and networking time. The retreat is free of charge for MTEC doctoral candidates. The department will cover the following costs: accommodation, meals, and coffee breaks (drinks are at your own expense).
Next year's Doctoral Retreat will take place from 22–23 January 2026 in Vitznau, Canton Lucern, Switzerland.
Participants will stay at the external page See- und Seminarhotel FloraAlpina. The hotel is located in a sunny and quiet position at the Lake of Lucerne surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and a lovely view of the lake and the Alps.
