New Spring Semester Courses in 2021
Our ambition at the D-MTEC MSc and doctoral programmes is to offer a practice-oriented education involving real-life examples that will prepare our MSc and doctoral students for their future careers. In line with this goal, six new courses have been launched this Spring Semester. They cover topics such as New Technologies in Banking and Finance, Machine Learning and Sustainable Mobility.

Hugo Tschirky: Building bridges between management and engineering
ETH Zurich has a long history of connecting business management and technical engineering concerns. This bridging function is assumed today by the MTEC Department. Hugo Tschirky, who died in October 2020 at the age of 83 due to complications from a heart operation, contributed decisively to this tradition as Professor of Business Management from 1982 to 2003.
