Scientific Staff @ MTEC
The Association of Scientific Staff at D-MTEC (ScSt@MTEC) is the official representation of research assistants, doctoral students and scientific employees at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics. We support the scientific staff by actively contributing to departmental politics and organising events and activities.
Representation
ScSt@MTEC organises the elections for the representatives in the departmental committees (Department Conference, Teaching Commission, and selection committees). Several of our board members serve as representatives in one of those committees, and most representatives are board members. Our representatives are also on the search committees for new professors. We operate in close cooperation with AVETH, the association of scientific staff at ETH.
Events and activities
We organise activities to support the social exchange among scientific staff at D-MTEC. This includes apéros at the beginning of the semester and before the festive season, Future Ready Researchers (a career event), sports activites and many more.
