Research area

My research aims at gaining a better understanding of farmers' decision-making as they transition to more environmentally friendly practices. I tend to emphasize the importance of incorporating psychological and social factors into economic models of adoption behavior. I am particularly interested in pest management practices and I have specific experience with farmers motivations to reduce pesticide use in grapevine production.
